Beauty: It Does WHAT?

Some people spend their days at work calculating return rates. I spend mine deciding whether to classify a hair product as a shine enhancer, frizz fighter, curl calmer or simply, a serum. Hey, it's not as easy as it sounds! Just wait until I come across a 3-in-1 product! Talk about my worst nightmare.

Shampoo, conditioner AND body wash? That's awesome, but where am I supposed to file this?

Vowing to reorganize the beauty closet before the summer ends, Julie (the fabulous other intern) and I have spent our work days wading through piles of shampoo, lip gloss and body butter. As we turned the shelves upside down, we discovered some hilarious hidden products. I just had to share them with you!

Poo-Pourri
$9.99, poopourri.com

I knew a guy in high school who was actually convinced women weren't physically designed to go number two. This product might be to blame. Just spray on the surface of the water before you, you know, and you're set to go! It really works — erm, at least that's what I've heard.

Lovely Jubblies
Lush Cosmetics, $20

You guessed it! A beauty product just for the girls. This luxurious cream moisturizes and firms your skin. Your décolleté never looked so good!

Rollasoles
$9.99, Target

Manolos, Louboutin's and Jimmy Choo's are great for going out, but coming home is a different story. Now, instead of stumbling to the subway in blisters you can pack a pair of flats right into your clutch! These portable pedi-savers are perfect for a girl about town. I'm buying two pairs!

As wacky as they are, these products are actually really innovative! I'm always impressed by companies that pay attention to women's needs and strive to make a product that addresses them. The cute names never hurt either!

Crazy beautiful,

Voguerrilla

Your aunt Beth loves Lush, and her birthday is coming up next month. But I'm just not sure Lovely Jubblies sends the right message as a gift. :-)

Any other suggestions?

haha Good call Uncle Todd! I recently discovered a line of products called Revolution Organics. They have great organic and chemical-free beauty products that Aunt Beth would love. I use the Freedom Glow Beauty Balm everyday. Good luck on the gift hunt!
